We had a great time at the coffee tasting with Laura and AJ. The coffee was delicious and we learned a lot! Both AJ and Laura were very knowledgeable about the whole coffee process, from growing to the many different brewing methods. We could have chatted with AJ about coffee all day! This was a great introduction to all things coffee. Laura and her partner were super friendly and passionate about coffee. Hands down one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Tulum was to do Laura and AJ’s coffee tasting. The coffee was the best I’ve tasted and Laura and AJ are so friendly and knowledgeable. They really get you thinking about the type of coffee you drink and how you drink it. This is a must do if you’re in Tulum! Laura & Aj were wonderful and we really enjoyed sampling the different types of coffee they are roasting and learning more about the different styles and ways of preparing and drinking coffee. Their love and passion for this amazing plant is apparent. They were accommodating to our need to change the time around and the location was easy to find and accessible. Laura and Alberto shared their deep knowledge of the origin sourced sustainably grown Mexican coffee they have roasted along with amazing fresh brewed tastings of each. Wow, you don’t know how good coffee can be for you and how wonderful it tastes when it’s this fresh until you experience! And with a free sample to take home, I recommend the Cafe de Olla, a Mexican original recreated by them that will remind you of your time here on Tulum beach. (September 2018)
