I am writing this review in cold France while sipping my freshly roasted coffee that I got from Laura & AJ 🙂 It is indeed so much better and different from what we are used to drink. My boyfriend and I ended up being the only ones at the experience so having a private tasting was much more than we could have asked for. The coffee shop is located right on the beach which makes for incredible views and atmosphere. We learned so much in such a short amount of time and let me tell you as someone who had to give up coffee for the last year for supposed health reasons this experience was life changing. Laura and her husband are incredibly knowledgable and passionate people. You can tell they care and love what they do deeply. I highly recommend booking this rather short experience if you have the time. You won’t regret it! (February 2019)
Simply amazing experience, our top 3 moment in all of Tulum. The view while coffee tasting was breathtaking. But more importantly, Laura and AJ were incredible. So knowledgeable, fun, and informed on coffee and the incredible coffee transformation taking place in Mexico! Lastly, their coffee was AMAZING! My sister and I would HIGHLY recommend this experience. I went in thinking we were going to try some coffee, and left much more knowledgeable (which means something from a coffee barista of 4+ years) and with some new tips and tricks for my own coffee brewing passion. The major downside was the experience ending! Both my sister and I felt like we wanted to hang out all day and get to know Laura and AJ more! Overall, it was a great experience! (January 2019)
This is an amazing and unique way to spend a morning (or afternoon!) in Tulum, both tasting and learning about wonderful coffee. Laura and AJ are fantastic hosts and are a wealth of knowledge about coffee’s origins, selection process, roasting techniques and brew methods. I’m very picky about my coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the samples were, they serve coffee that’s far better than the shops in the area. 10/10! (January 2019)

I thought I knew a lot about coffee before this tasting – but who knew there was so much more to learn! Really loved this class and would recommend it to anyone interested in having a better cup of coffee, learning more about Mexican coffee culture, or just looking for a leveled up cafe experience. Hermosa y satisfactoria experiencia! Fuimos esperando encontrarnos con un grupo de personas pero esa mañana fuimos sólo mi pareja y yo; lo que hizo la experiencia aún más personalizada e interactiva. Laura y AJ son adorables y tienen una gran historia de cómo hoy están allà compartiendo sus experiencias y conocimientos sobre el café. Es un cambio de perspectiva a la hora de disfrutar una taza de café que todos deberÃan lograr. Totalmente recomendable.
