This coffee tasting was amazing! I’ve gotten to do similar experiences in Kenya and Ethiopia and it was clear Laura cares deeply about the craft and people involved in creating delicious coffee from bean to brew. We would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking to expand their experience of a new place and have one of the best cups of coffee of your life. We learned new brew methods and even more about beans. We also loved their cold brew especially. Even when there was a scheduling issue, Laura was extremely accommodating and welcoming. (April 2019)
Laura shared her passion for not just coffee but fresh, premium coffee and the exact science of brew techniques, all alongside history and personal stories. I’ve learnt a bit about coffee before, but this felt both very specific, extremely well thought out and really memorable. She deeply cares about the taste and heritage of excellent coffee, taking you along for the ride. Plus, we got to taste a wide variety of yummy coffee with different brew types, roast types, from different areas – something for everyone. The experience is right on the beach in a coffee roasters off an upmarket restaurant with parking. Also- due to our experience in Tulum- we can tell that she has a special product for the region. If I was a local coffee shop I’d be lining up to sell her coffee since it’s so good- and local. What a fun and unique activity! Our group had an awesome time getting a quick history lesson, sampling different brew methods, and enjoying the company and atmosphere. Laura and her team were rockstars! They made us feel welcomed and truly wanted to make the best experience for us.
